What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural and highly focused state of mind. A state where the mind is open to recognising learning it may have overlooked.
Hypnosis provides the opportunity to notice strengths and resources you may have forgotten or not yet recognised and so enabling you to tap into them. It also enables you to see clearly how much easier it is to change than you may have thought and to achieve what you want.

How does Hypnosis work?
Hypnosis works by you're choosing to go into a very relaxed state, sometimes called a trance, with the help of your hypnotherapist. There are a number of ways to do this and most of the time, all you need to do is listen to the voice of the practitioner and follow their instructions, the more effectively you do this, the more effective is the trance that you experience. So I suspect you can understand from this that it is really quite simple and straightforward.
It can be useful to notice because you choose to go into the trance in the first place, you can at any time you choose also come out of the trance. It is good to know this because it means you are in control of the whole process.
