Olympics
Olympic rings London
The Olympics is a festival of excellence, achievement, focus, a lot of work, pride and frequently overcoming adversity. That's why so many people watch them.

With any kind of racing there is always the preparation phase just before the off, where the athlete gets ready, steadies and then with a burst of pent up energy goes.

At the end of the race there is of course the result you know where you came first, second, third or..... . What

happens then? Regardless of the result. Time is spent examining  what really worked, what can be changed, improved, developed and ditched....is game changing. Because then and only then will development occur.

Just imagine starting each day like that. Imagine using a process to set yourself up for a successful, fulfilling day ahead. Developing pent up energy or motivation and then releasing it to burst into the day with enthusiasm. Having a great day. And finally at the end of the day reviewing your situation.

How do you think that would work for you?

Interesting?

Suggestion alert!

For the next month experiment with:

Ready---Steady---Go

  1. Take half an hour, at most, at the beginning of each morning and
  2. Decide what you want to achieve that day. Write each one positively, simply and in present tense, max 3-5.
  3. Imagine each one as vividly as possible, and then some, each one going just perfectly
  4. Ask yourself what is important about achieving this; building up your motivation. Then go for it
At the end of the day ask yourself some questions:
  1. What worked really well?
  2. What can you just let go? (If anything)
  3. What can you do more of to make it even better?
  4. What can you do differently the next time?
  5. Overall who are you becoming?
Keep the answers in mind when doing your Ready---Steady---Go on the next morning. Just experiment, play with it and discover what happens. I'd love to know.....let me know

Have fun and enjoy.
